The Summit at West Rim is a small private enclave on top of Mount Larson just off Westlake Drive. This neighborhood consists of about 30 estate-sized luxury homes. Terraced on the side and top of an exceptionally large hill, many of the homes in the neighborhood offer breathtaking Lake Austin, Hill Country, and city views. Originally developed in the late 1990s, homes in The Summit at West Rim range in age from just over 20 years old to new construction as there are still a few undeveloped lots in the neighborhood. There are two sections to this neighborhood – a gated section and a non-gated section. Homes in Summit at West Rim on Mount Larson are large (5,000+ sq ft) and boast many luxury finishes and amenities and sit on 1-2 acre lots. Summit at West Rim on Mount Larson is located off Westlake Drive just after it splits with The High Road (Toro Canyon Road). The non-gated section can be accessed from Mt Larson Road from Westlake Drive or Logans Hollow from Toro Canyon Road. The gated section can be accessed from Westlake Pass (follow Westlake Drive until it turns into Westlake Pass) at River Garden Trail. Kids who live in West Austin’s Summit at West Rim On Mount Larson neighborhood are served by the Eanes ISD and will likely attend the following schools:
